Birthday Parties
Our Birthday Parties for children aged 5+ are structured to ensure everyone who attends walks away with a completed artwork, but also has a fun and exciting time at our studio.
We believe that our space offers children with sensitive and creative personalities a unique
venue where their quest to express is taken seriously.

Birthday Party Structure
- Sessions run for a total of 2 hours, with 1.5 hours dedicated to the artwork project and 30 minutes at the end for food and cake.
- Attendees will go home with a finished artwork each.
- The project will be an acrylic painting on canvas (subject to change).
- Unfortunately, we are unable to have parents remain in the studio for the duration of the party as the space only accommodates the children and we require the students to be focused to listen to the teachers’ instructions.

Our studio currently offers the following in preparation of any upcoming birthday party.
The studio will provide:
- All painting and drawing materials
- Aprons
- Kitchenette facilities (microwave, kettle, sink, fridge)
- Tables and chairs
The studio does not provide:
- Invitations
- Food and drink
- Birthday cake
- Utensils, cutlery and plates, etc.
- Decorations
Pricing & Date Reservation
Week Night:
For 10 attendees and under the price for a party is $500.00. For more than 10 attendees, the price is $500.00 with $45.00 per additional head.
Time availability dependant on schools class schedules.
Saturday/Sunday:
For 10 attendees and under the price for a party is $600.00. For more than 10 attendees, the price is $600.00 with $50.00 per additional head.
Time availability dependant on schools class schedules.
Private Life Drawing Events
Our Private Life Drawing Events are an excellent offering to groups of individuals to refine their artistic skills and engage with the human form in dynamic ways.
These events provide a range of settings where students can practice drawing from live models, explore different styles and techniques, and receive personalized feedback from experienced instructors, all whilst enjoying a social and relaxed environment.

Event Structure
- Sessions run for a total of 2 hours, with 1.5 hours dedicated to the artwork project and 30 minutes at the end for food and drink (subject to change).
- Participants are welcome to work at one of 14 easels available or using a table and chair.
- The session will be broken into short poses (1-5 mintues) and long poses (10 – 20 minutes).
- We stive to ensure our studio space is a comfortable and welcoming environment for all. Our aim is to retain a sophisticated and academic environment in our life drawing sessions as our students study the nude figure both male and female. Because of this, we refrain from having our model pose in innapropriate or grotesque ways.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to have children under the age of 15 in the space during the private event. Individuals aged 15+ welcome to attend with parental written consent.
Event Agreements
Our studio currently offers the following in preparation of any upcoming life drawing event.
The studio will provide:
- All paper and drawing materials
- 1 life model for the duration of the event (female or male can be requested upon booking)
- Kitchenette facilities (microwave, kettle, sink, fridge)
- Easels, tables and chairs
- Relaxing music
The studio does not provide:
- Invitations
- Food and drink
- Utensils, cutlery and plates, etc.
- Decorations

At the Melbourne Studio of Art, our corporate functions are crafted to blend creativity with professional networking, offering a unique and inspiring environment for business events.
Tailored to meet specific organisational goals, these functions can include collaborative art projects that foster teamwork and innovation, or a more casual team bonding activity to stimulate creativity and conversation.

- A guided project will be taught with the intention of a completed outcome by the end of the session.
- Event structure open to amendments on request to allow for team building activities, awards, presentations, ect.
